Attorney Admissions

Under Local Rule 701, attorneys may apply for admission to the bar of this District.  From this menu, attorneys can review their bar membership information (including retrieving a bar number or admission date), submit a change of name or address, or obtain a certificate of good standing.

Notice for Renewing Members of the Bar

  1.   All renewals must be filed electronically. We are no longer accepting renewals by mail. If you need assistance with submitting your form online, please call 410-962-2600 and ask for the help desk.

  2.   You must use your U.S. District Court of Maryland CM/ECF log-in (retrievable here) to complete your renewal. Do not use your PACER account, your Maryland Bankruptcy account, or any other federal CM/ECF account information.

  3.   For the complete renewal schedule, click here.

  4.   Effective January 1, 2012, all active members of the bar must be registered for CM/ECF. Renewal forms will only be sent electronically to active members of our bar. For more information, click here.
