Certificate of Good Standing

Active members of this Court’s bar may request and pay for a certificate of good standing through our electronic filing system, CM/ECF. Detailed instructions are available here.

An electronic certificate of good standing will be emailed to you within five business days. All certificates are valid for ninety days from issuance.

A bar member’s membership status and bar number are available by selecting the “Bar Member Search” option under the Attorney Admissions menu or by clicking here.

As of July 1, 2013, the Clerk’s Office will only accept requests and payment for certificates of good standing in electronic form through CM/ECF. Members of the bar who would like to receive a paper certificate may provide payment and request a certificate in person at the Baltimore or Greenbelt Clerk’s Office during normal business hours.
