Advisory Concerning Electronic Devices in the Courthouse for United States v. Martin

In re United States v. Harold Martin, 16-2254-BPG

Unless otherwise approved by the presiding judge, all electronic devices are prohibited in the courtroom for the duration of proceedings in United States v. Harold Martin. This restriction includes, but is not limited to, cellular telephones, cameras, recording devices, smart watches and pens, laptops, and tablets. In order to enforce this restriction, everyone entering the courtrooms will be subject to secondary security screening. This restriction applies to all members of the public, the media, and the bar seeking to attend these proceedings.

Members of the public and media are advised not to bring any of these items into the courthouse if they will be attending proceedings in the Martin case. There is no place to store these in the courthouse while attending proceedings in this case, and neither court security officers nor court employees may store them for you.
