Remote Proceeding Access Information

Attending a Public Hearing Conducted In-Court or by Audio or Video Teleconference

Locate the hearing you wish to attend on the Court's public calendar.  All public proceedings, whether conducted in-court or by audio or video teleconference, will have a teleconference phone number and access code listed after the case name.  Please use this information to connect to the proceeding by phone where you will be able to observe the hearing via listen only mode.  If you have any questions, please contact MDD_PublicAccess@mdd.uscourts.gov.

No court proceedings, including proceedings conducted by audio or video teleconference, may be photographed, recorded, broadcast, or otherwise transmitted without the express permission of the Court.


Court Participants -- Zoomgov Videoconference Information

If you will be a case participant in a Zoomgov video conference with the Court (e.g., attorney, witness, party, etc.), preparing properly will ensure a smooth experience.  Please carefully review these instructions before connecting for your proceeding.


Recording/Broadcasting Prohibitions 

Pursuant to Local Rule 506.1, no court proceedings may be photographed, recorded, broadcast, or otherwise transmitted without the express permission of the Chief Judge.  This Court has issued a COVID-19 Pandemic Procedures order specifically extending the terms of this prohibition against recording or transmitting court proceedings to include any court proceeding conducted by remote audio or video conferencing.
