Due to inclement weather, the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland will be closed on Wednesday, February 10th and Thursday, February 11th.

All court proceedings for those dates will be rescheduled and counsel and parties will be notified. This includes the court proceedings scheduled to be held on Thursday, February 11th, at Fort Meade as well as the petty offense dockets scheduled for the U.S. Courthouse in Greenbelt on Wednesday, February 10th and Thursday, February 11th, and the continuing jury trial before
Judge Chasanow.

The following petty offense calendars for Friday, February 12th have been cancelled: the docket in Salisbury, the Fort Meade docket in Baltimore, and the U.S. Park Police docket in Greenbelt. Those matters will be rescheduled to a future date.

A decision about the operating status of the federal courthouses in Baltimore and Greenbelt for Friday, February 12th will be made Thursday evening or by 6:00 a.m. on Friday morning.
