Judge Edward S. Northrop Lecture Series

Judge Edward S. Northrop served as a United States District Judge in this Court from 1961 to 2003, including serving as Chief Judge from 1970 to 1981. The United States District Court and the George Washington University Law School established this lecture series in 2004 in memory of Judge Northrop and in recognition of his distinguished service to the court. The lecture is held in alternating years in the Greenbelt courthouse.
