Incoming Interns

Congratulations on your upcoming internship with the U.S. District Court, District of Maryland. The forms included below must be completed and returned to the Human Resources Department no later than two weeks prior to the first day of your internship. Incomplete packets cannot be accepted. 

Acknowledgement of Gratuitous Service (AO 196A)

Confidentiality Statement – Read the entire policy and return after signing the acknowledgement.

Employment Eligibility Verification (USCIS Form I-9) – Complete only section 1 of the form (page 1) and provide either one document from List A OR one document from both List B and List C when you arrive on your first day.  A list of acceptable documents is included as the final page of the I-9 form.

Employee Emergency Information Form

Fingerprint and Record Check Policy – All interns are subject to a fingerprint and records check. Fingerprints will be processed upon entry with results received within 48 hours.

Information Technology Policy – Read the entire policy and return only the signed acknowledgement form on the last page. Internet use is available for official business only and is regularly monitored to prevent violations. Violations of the policy will be brought to the attention of the supervisor and the Chief Judge.

Information Technology Security Policy – Read all of the training slides and return only the signed acknowledgement form on the last page.
