Reactivations and Reinstatement

Inactive members of our bar who became inactive for failure to renew their membership are eligible for reactivation at any time. See Standing Order 2016-04. This procedure is not available for members who were disbarred or suspended from the bar, who must file a petition for reinstatement. See Local Rule 705.4.

Reactivation requests are reviewed on a rolling basis in the order in which they are received.  Please allow at least fourteen days for review of your submission.  During this time you may be contacted to provide additional information or if you do not meet the eligibility requirements.  Failure to respond to these inquiries in a timely matter may result in your application being administratively denied.

If you are eligible for reactivation, please follow these instructions and submit a Request for Reactivation.  If you have been suspended, disbarred, or deemed ineligible for continued membership and would like to petition for reinstatement under Local Rule 705.4, please contact the Clerk’s Office Attorney Services line at 410-962-3293.
