In tribute to the life, character, and public service of James Earl Carter Jr., the thirty-ninth President of the United States, and consistent with the President’s declaration of a National Day of Mourning, the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland and its Court offices will be closed for business in both divisions on Thursday, January 9, 2025. 

Electronic filing through CM/ECF will remain available.

The afterhours drop box for the Southern Division will not be available; however, the afterhours drop box for the Northern Division located at 4228 U.S. Courthouse, 101 West Lombard Street, Baltimore, MD 21201 will be available.
