Eleventh Biennial Bench-Bar Conference of the United States District Court for the District of Maryland

The Judges of the United States District Court for the District of Maryland, in conjunction with the Bench-Bar Liaison Committee and the Maryland Chapter of the Federal Bar Association, invite you to the Eleventh Biennial Bench-Bar Conference on October 10, 2019, in the Northern Division Courthouse, 101 W. Lombard Street, Baltimore, MD.

The keynote speaker will be Paul Rosenzweig, Founder of Red Branch Consulting, a homeland security consulting company, and senior adviser to The Chertoff Group.  His topic, "Artificial Intelligence and the Law" will examine how "expert learning systems may make lawyers, and even judges, obsolete." 

The keynote address will be followed by a panel discussion with judges of the Court.  Finally, the Honorable James K. Bredar will deliver the State of the Court address and the conference will close with an always enjoyable reception. The program will commence promptly at 4 p.m., and the reception will conclude at 7 p.m.

There is no charge for attending the conference; however, reservations are requested.  Please reserve your spot through our website.
