The U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland will be closed for business in both divisions on Friday, December 22, 2023 and Tuesday, December 26, 2023. These days will be treated as “legal holidays” for the purposes of Fed. R. Civ. P. 6 and Fed. R. Crim. P. 45.  Electronic filing through CM/ECF will remain available on all days the court is closed. The afterhours drop box for the Southern Division will not be available on these days; however, the afterhours drop box for the Northern Division located at 4228 U.S. Courthouse, 101 West Lombard Street, Baltimore, MD 21201 will be available.
