2021 Introduction to Federal Practice Program
The Maryland Chapter of the Federal Bar Association will be presenting its 2021 Introduction to Federal Practice Program online over the course of four sessions on January 15, February 19, March 19, and April 23, 2021.
The January 15, 2021 session will be from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. and will feature:
· A presentation by Chief Judge James K. Bredar on the impact of the pandemic on operations of the United States District Court for the District of Maryland in 2020, now, and looking forward.
· A presentation by Judge Paul W. Grimm on the Court’s efforts to restart jury trials.
· A presentation by Judge Paula Xinis and Chief Deputy Clerk for Operations Catherine M. Stavlas on virtual evidentiary hearings.
