Following a period of public notice and comment, the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland approved amendments to its Local Rules, effective July 1, 2011. The amendments will apply to all cases filed on or after July 1, 2011, as well as to all cases pending as of July 1, 2011, to the extent practicable, unless otherwise ordered by the presiding judge.
