District of Maryland AUSAs/AFPDs

Assistant U.S. Attorneys and Assistant Federal Public Defenders appointed in the District of Maryland and not already members of the Court’s bar may receive permission to file electronically for the duration of their employment in the District of Maryland.  These attorneys must complete the Request for Special Appearance and CM/ECF Access upon beginning their employment in the District of Maryland.

After receiving e-filing permission the District, these attorneys should then enter their own appearances in CM/ECF in all subsequent cases.  Assistant U.S. Attorneys and Assistant Federal Public Defenders are responsible for notifying the Clerk’s Office at the end of their employment in the District of Maryland.
